28th Sunday in Ordinary Time

RECEPTION FOR CANON LEO'S RETIREMENT: There will be a Reception for Canon Leo on the 1st of November 2019 at Christ the King chapel 7.30pm prompt. There are envelopes at the back of the Church towards this celebration.

BAPTISMS - Kindly call the Parish for arrangements

RCIA - There will be a meeting at the Christ the King chapel immediately after the 7.30pm Mass. New members are welcome.

MASS TIMES: These changes will commence by the 1st November 2019
There will be more masses said in the two chapels of the Parish of Sacred Heart and Christ the King. The Sunday mass shall now be 10am at the Sacred Heart while the Sunday mass at Christ the King will remain at 11am as well as the Saturday Vigil mass at 6pm at Christ the King. The weekday masses will be at 9.30am and 6.30pm for evening masses.

On the 26th of October: 2-5pm there will be an event at the Gillis Centre, from the Pope's Encyclical "Amoris Laetitia" under the title "Your Marriage is Your Vocation: The Beauty and Challenge of Marriage and Family Life in the 21st Century" The speaker is Archbishop John Wilson of Southwark

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: There will be a parish council meeting on Tuesday 14th October at the Sacred Heart parish house. 1 Drummond Place, Time 7pm
